Good old Amazon UK fled Batman: Arkham Collection for PS4 and Xbox One, which includes Batman: The Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight all in one for the PS4 and the Xbox One. According to the list, the trilogy package will arrive on September 6th. As you probably know, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has already released a similar package containing the same games in online stores, but not retail. Meanwhile, origin Rocksteady continues to act as if it does not exist.
"Batman: Arkham Collection brings you the definitive versions of Rocksteady Arkham trilogy games, including all post-launch content, in a complete collection ", reads in the official speech of the product." Check out two of the most critically acclaimed titles of the latest generation-Batman: The Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, with visuals completely remastered and updated. Complete your experience with the explosive finale of the Arkham series in Batman: Arkham Knight. Become a Batman and use a wide range of gadgets and abilities to deal with Gotham's most dangerous villains, to finally face the ultimate threat that Batman is supposed to protect against the city. "
For those who do not know: Batman: Arkham Origins was the only game in the series not developed by Rocksteady. It was developed by WB Games Montreal, and for this reason, Rocksteady claims that it does not exist and considers the series a mere trilogy. And it's a shame, because it's only going to get harder and harder to play origins, who is loved by many.
According to the list, the retail version will feature a steel package. With regard to additional ports, such as Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia, none are mentioned in the list.
Of course, take all this with a grain of salt until the official confirmation, but Amazon's listings are a reliable source of leaks and often reveal many games before they are announced or revealed. Meanwhile, September 6th is a Friday, so the date is verified. Friday, along with Tuesday, is the most common day for major publishers for the release of their games.
Whatever it is, as always, feel free to leave a comment or two with your thoughts. Are you going to revisit this classic cross-gen series if it comes out in September?
Thank you, Gematsu.
