After weeks of allegations against him, Armie Hammer was reportedly fired from director Amma Asante. The billion dollar spy. According to the Hollywood Journalist, Hammer was scheduled to play CIA agent Brad Reid opposite Mads Mikkelsen Soviet engineer Adolf Tolkachev in the upcoming Cold War Thriller for Walden Media.

The film is just the most recent project Hammer left or was rejected after alleged graphic sex posts, some depicting fantasies of BDSM and cannibalism, leaked online earlier this year. Several women have since accused the actor of emotional and sexual misconduct. More recently, a woman known only by her first name, Effie, accused Hammer of violently raping her on April 24, 2017, as well as slamming her head against a wall. The Los Angles Police Department later confirmed to Los Angeles Times that a police report was filed against the actor on the February incident.

Hammer’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, has denied all accusations of sexual abuse on behalf of the actor and says the meeting between Hammer and Effie was “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance and mutually participatory.” Since January, growing allegations have led to Jennifer Lopez’s exit of Hammer Hunting rifle wedding, Paramount + The offer, and Starz’s Gaslit, in addition to being abandoned by his agency WME.
