Former California governor and movie star Arnold Schwarzengger, 73, borrowed from both worlds today while getting vaccinated against Covid-19 at Dodger Stadium.
Schwarzenegger shared a video of himself on social media receiving the vaccine and slipped two jokes from his film career while receiving it.
In the clip, Schwarzenegger sits on the passenger side of an SUV as a medical technician pricks his vaccine needle. He captioned the post: ‘Today was a good day. I have never been so happy to wait in line. If you are eligible, join me and sign up to receive your vaccine. Come with me if you want to live! ‘ The last line, of course, was made famous by Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Schwarzenegger also directed a line from his 1996 Christmas family comedy, Jingle All the Way.
He asked the technician to “put that needle down!” as she injects him. It’s a phrase from the movie said to neighbor Ted, who was told to drop the cookies.
