Since it was announced on WDWNT.com (and Disney has confirmed a few months later), Disney fans have discussed the way Disney will transport the guests of the next Star Wars Hotel to Star Wars: Galaxy & Edge's inside Disney Studios Hollywood. The immersive experience of the hotel (with the current proposed name Star Wars: Galactic Journeys) aims to completely embody customers in the Star Wars universe, by embarking them on a two-night space cruise and three days on the Chandrila Star Line. The complex will close visitors to the real world through projection windows displaying scenes outside the space cruiser. A transportation system should do the same.

Disney even published a graphic concept of what the shuttle would look like, at least in history:

Well, here is what this transport looks like …

The intergalactic transports for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are in fact heavily modified buses.

No, it's not the "Black Box", it's a heavily modified bus. The guests will enter by a bridge that will put them in the sealed central section of this bus. They will not see any pilot, nor the outside world of Central Florida, at least not before they landed at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

The gateway prevents guests of the Star Wars Hotel to find that they are not really in space.

A glance at the interior of the transport reveals a limited number of seats, all facing inward. It seems that even this short bus ride will be a rather intimate experience that you may never forget.

The interior of the transportation system is highly thematized, causing customers to believe that they are in a space capsule en route for a fun-filled day of vacation in Batuu.

The experience is complemented by large screens that act as windows in the space. This should allow a successful arrival at Black Spire Outpost, starting with seeing Batuu from space.

So what do you think? Are you looking forward to visiting the Star Wars Hotel at Walt Disney World and taking an intergalactic bus? Will it be in your budget? Well, you still have some time to save before it opens in time for the 50th anniversary of WDW.
