Ashley Graham celebrates her son’s first birthday by recalling the moments leading up to his birth. Yesterday, January 27, on her Instagram Stories, the supermodel shared memories from December 19, 2019 until January 18, 2020, when she and her husband Justin Ervin welcomed their first baby, Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin.

The first photo memory, from December 19, 2019, shows Graham posing at home with her eight-month-pregnant belly in full view. Then later that day we see the model at work, this time posing for a professional photoshoot. Graham jumps to December 27, 2019, showing her tummy decorated with a sketch of how her baby is positioned inside. “He’s so cute! So crazy,” she said in the video, zooming in on her stomach.

Her next photo – which shows Graham lying on the couch – doesn’t include any words or context, but we’re pretty sure all pregnant moms can.

Move on to January 2020, showing pictures of her round belly, including one marked “10M!” which caused a lot of confusion at the time, leading Instagram followers to think she was 10 months pregnant when she was truly celebrating 10 million followers.

A recollection from January 10 showed Graham was trying acupuncture as a natural way to induce labor. “I love acupuncture, but it was so painful! … and it didn’t work, ”she wrote.

From a memory of Jan. 18, the day she gave birth, Graham “apparently went to breakfast with full contractions” – and she did so in style, showing off her new Ivy Park beanie, courtesy of Beyoncé.

Hours later, however, Graham gave birth with the help of Heart Science Midwifery.

The model ended the trip down memory lane with a photo of Ervin, her new baby boy and herself lying in bed.

“Six hours of wild, full contractions and the worst pain of my life later – we met our beautiful son !!!” she wrote.
