Ellen DeGeneres hosted several special guests The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Ashton Kutcher has visited the set on several occasions. In 2018, Kutcher spoke to DeGeneres about what it’s like to live close to each other in the same neighborhood. And when DeGeneres told his story, Kutcher attributed it to “the problems of the rich.” Here is what happened.

It’s clear that Kutcher is a huge fan of DeGeneres. When DeGeneres was roasted by fans for the negative work environment described by its employees in 2020, Kutcher came to his defense on Twitter. And every time he visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he mentioned how close they were to each other in real life.
“Ashton and Mila and Portia and I are neighbors,” DeGeneres told the audience when Kutcher arrived in 2018. “And we see each other often.”
DeGeneres went on to talk about how “cute” Kutcher and his wife, Mila Kunis, are in the neighborhood. “They walk in the morning with their pajamas, their dogs and their kids,” DeGeneres continued.
Kutcher then shared a funny story about how DeGeneres didn’t think his 2-year-old was walking. He explained that he was carrying his son while walking towards the beach, which led DeGeneres to believe that the child could not walk at all. “Now, once we get to the jurisdiction of your house, I’m like, ‘Come on, come on,’ Kutcher joked about his son. ‘Run, you asshole!’
Kutcher called DeGeneres’ problems “ rich people’s problems’ ‘
While discussing Kutcher’s son walking or not walking, the two friends continued to joke. It’s clear that Kutcher and DeGeneres live right on the beach, as at the start of their segment together, the duo talk about DeGeneres flying a plane with a banner right above their house. And Kutcher noted that he was offended that he was not invited to watch the show.
Kutcher later joked that he and Kunis called DeGeneres “Gladys”. And DeGeneres tried to explain to the public.
“Mila called me Gladys because… there was a guy on a jet ski going too fast too close to shore, and there are dolphins there…” DeGeneres began as Kutcher laughed in the background.
“Oh, these are rich people’s problems!” he exclaimed in the middle of the DeGeneres story. It also made DeGeneres laugh.
“No it is not!” she added. “You can be on any beach and see jet skis there. But anyway, Mila called me…. DeGeneres then stopped the story there and continued with the segment.
Kutcher and DeGeneres seem to have a wonderful friendship

Kutcher and DeGeneres have been arraigned for possible unsavory behavior in the past. But it seems their friendship remains strong. When DeGeneres was called out by his former employees for supporting a toxic work environment, Kutcher assured fans he had never experienced what others claimed.
“I haven’t spoken with @TheEllenShow and can only speak from my own experience. She and her team only treated me and my team with respect and kindness, ”he explained via Twitter. “She never bowed to the fame which I have always considered refreshing honesty. When things are not right, she manages and corrects. “
Kutcher has also teamed up with Ripple, a currency exchange system, to give DeGeneres $ 4 million for its Wildlife Relief Fund. And his reasoning was that DeGeneres always gives back to others and is totally selfless.
We’re sure we’ll see Kutcher on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the future, even if that means he’s going to tease DeGeneres again for his “rich people problems.”
