US policeman Mohamed Noor described the moment he killed Justine Ruszczyk Damond.
He was testifying in court while he was sentenced to 12 years and six months in prison for his murder.
"At the moment I pulled the trigger, I was scared." When I walked around, I saw [her] Dying on the floor, I felt horror. Seeing her there, I knew in an instant that I was wrong, "he said.
Noor shot Ms. Damond in July 2017 as she was approaching her patrol car to report a possible rape at her home in Minneapolis.
He said the shooting was a mistake.
