Legacy of the First Blade, the first major DLC based on a story from Assassin's Creed Odyssey, received a launch trailer showing a killer of great importance.

With episode 1: Hunted released on December 4, Legacy of the First Blade follows the first assassin to brandish a hidden blade: Darius I, son of Xerxes I. The legacy of the first blade was announced as part of Odyssey's post-launch roadmap, which includes another block of story-based content, The Fate of Atlantis, which will allow players to "confront godly creatures and unveil the secrets of the legendary submerged city. [of Atlantis]"From the spring of 2019.

The next two chapters of Legacy of the First Blade, Episode 2: Shadow Heritage and Episode 3: Bloodline, will probably appear. mid-January and late February / early March, respectively.

Both DLC scenarios are included in the game's season pass, though free, free content has been added regularly to Assassin's Creed Odyssey since its launch. Although Ubisoft has temporarily suspended live mercenary events, they are now operational and, to date, two of them have failed: Abia the Shadow and Damais the Indifferent.
