A new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch adds an official 60fps mode and fixes a handful of bugs.

Most of the update allows the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game to run in ‘performance’ mode, which allows the game to adapt settings to maintain 60 fps consistently – while reports indicate that both consoles have already moved closer to this mark. , the Xbox Series S budget does not. You can also choose the “quality” mode, which allows the game to run at maximum resolution while maintaining 30 fps.

This patch also fixes a bunch of bugs, fixes localization issues, UI issues, and more. For a full list of all bugs and changes, you can check out Ubisoft’s official patch notes. Some of the bugfixes are quite good, such as “Fish in Norway will now spawn in bad weather.” Glad the fish are back, despite the bad weather in Norway I guess?

Likewise, crows will no longer drop randomly from the sky in Asgard, and crowds will now always cheer during drinking games. Unfortunately, due to the patch, dogs will no longer levitate when Eivor begins a pet session.

The hotfix will launch on November 26 at 7:00 a.m. EDT on all platforms.

Update: We clarified that the Xbox Series S will see the biggest improvement with patched mode.
