Various motherboard manufacturers and retailers have started to provide pricing information for their Z590 motherboard lines. ASUS and MSI confirmed pricing for several cards some time ago, but we’ve also received a word from ASRock about their recently revealed Z590 motherboards.
ASUS, MSI, and ASRock Z590 motherboard pricing revealed – From $ 189 and up to $ 1,500
While we covered all motherboards based on the Z590 chipset for the 10th and 11th generation Intel processors, we did not cover pricing at the time as they had not yet been revealed. But now retailers and board manufacturers have given us a brief price information on their upcoming boards.
MSI Z590 motherboard price
Starting with MSI, the company listed a total of 12 Z590 motherboards along with their prices, which have increased significantly over their Z490 predecessors. The prices aren’t that bad if you look at the mainstream and budget segment, which is mostly between US $ 200-300. Cards like the Z590-A PRO and Z590 PRO WiFi will fetch an MSRP of $ 189 and $ 209, respectively. The MAG line starts at US $ 229 and goes up to US $ 239 since it only has two models listed at the moment.
The more premium MPG and MEG ranges feature the more expensive variants. The MSI MPG Z590 line starts at US $ 264, so we’re already looking at a level of US $ 250 + and goes all the way up to US $ 324 Z590 Gaming Carbon WiFi. The MEG line starts at US $ 329, but the most expensive Z590 motherboards in this line are the ACE which sells for US $ 489 and the GODLIKE which sells for US $ 1,019. Both, the ACE and GODLIKE, come with higher prices than their predecessors, the ACE in the Z490 variant was priced at US $ 399, but this has now risen to US $ 489, a premium of $ 90 US. The Z490 GODLIKE had an MSRP of around US $ 749 while the Z590 GODLIKE had a premium of US $ 250.

MSI, like ASUS earlier, mentions that the following reason for the price increase of its products:
- Covid19 disrupts the supply chain
- Increased costs (PCB, VRM, Audio, etc.)
- Short term: Chinese New Year
- Increased shipping costs
ASUS Z590 motherboard price
ASUS, on the other hand, listed 13 Z590 motherboards with their prices but in euros. The range starts at 189 euros and goes up to 1516 euros. The more entry-level models, which include the PRIME Z590-P and PRIME Z590M-PLUS, will cost 201 and 189 euros respectively. ASUS TUF Gaming models will start at 239 euros and 252 euros. The premium PRIME Z590-A will cost 277 euros.
Coming to the ROG STRIX line, we have motherboards in very similar price ranges that start at $ 328 and go all the way up to $ 378. Finally, we have the ROG Maximus XIII range which starts at a price of 505 euros. That’s what the APEX and HERO models will cost this time around and is a marked increase over their predecessors. The Extreme models are the most expensive motherboards this time around with the standard variant priced at 960 euros and the Glacial variant positioned as a product over 1500 euros.

ASRock Z590 motherboard price
Finally, ASRock mentioned the prices of 5 of its Z590 motherboards. Their lineup starts at US $ 194.99 with the Z590 Steel Legend and goes up to US $ 429.99 for the Taichi model. ASRock has its flagship product under US $ 500 and the consumer line under US $ 300. That doesn’t mean they haven’t raised the prices for their boards, in fact the Z490 Taichi cost US $ 369.99 at launch, so the new Z590 Taichi costs US $ 60 than its predecessor.
