Lounging in a pool is the ultimate summer luxury, and apparently Padma Lakshmi knows a thing or two about it.
the Top chef and Taste the nation The host, 50, recently dropped a photo of herself lounging face down on a pool float, and you’ll instantly feel relaxed just looking at her. In the photo, Padma is wearing a teal bikini, and it’s hard to miss the fact that her legs and butt are super toned.
And yes, a lot of people have. “Geeeeeeeeeezus. No wonder she’s everyone’s crush. 😍😍😍, ”one person wrote in the comments. “Lawd mercy 🔥 🔥 🔥,” said another. Another added: “Blessed be the fruit 😂🍑🙌”

Of course, Padma hasn’t had her booty or the rest of her strong body lounging around all day. She is pretty serious about her workouts and sweats regularly.
She said Women’s health last year that she tried to exercise at least five times a week for 90 minutes each. Her favorite move? Jumping rope. She does 2,000 breathtaking jumps a day, which takes her around 35 minutes. She also works out with her Pilates trainer twice a week and Padma says it made a huge difference in her muscle tone.
“Pilates changed my body,” she said. “It made me strong in places I didn’t know I needed to be. I have an ass now that I didn’t have during my modeling career!
Padma eats well too. She tries to prepare 50% of her plate of fruits and vegetables and 50% of simple carbohydrates, starch and lean protein. She turns to a plant-based diet when not filming, but eats chicken, fish, ground turkey, and veal every now and then.
Padma is also realistic about how much time she has to cook, doing her best to juggle her busy schedule with her healthy eating goals. “We cook one fresh meal a day in our house and it’s usually for dinner,” she said. WH.
Does anyone have a skipping rope?
