At least five people injured in Portland after vehicle struck several pedestrians

The city’s fire and rescue service said one person has been seriously injured, while there are four to five non-critical injuries. Vehicles were also struck, according to a press release from the police station.
Portland Police have started receiving calls about a vehicle that struck pedestrians and vehicles along several blocks west of 33rd Avenue SE and Stark Street to 13th Southeast Avenue, “Portland Police Bureau officials said in a statement.

Calls to 911 began shortly after 1 p.m. PT, police said. This incident is under investigation.

Authorities said they would release more details later in the evening.
