Several people were shot in a synagogue in Poway, California.
According to the Poway Sheriff's Office, a suspect – a 19-year-old man, according to CNN – has been arrested.

According to KGTV, a subsidiary of ABC in San Diego, at least four victims were taken to hospital. Until now, an elderly person died on the spot, by CNN.
President Donald Trump addressed the shootout later Saturday: "Right now, it sounds like a hate crime. Hard to believe, "he told reporters.
Mayor Steve Vaus said the attack was considered a hate crime because of the shooter's statements when he entered the synagogue. He called the man in detention a person with "hatred in his heart".
The synagogue was hosting its Passover dinner when the attack occurred.
The shootout comes less than a year after 11 people were shot dead in the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh.
