AT & T raises DirecTV Now prices by $ 10 a month

When DirecTV Now was launched in 2016, it offered more than 100 live streaming channels for $ 35 per month. Prices have risen steadily since then. When these new changes come into effect, the company will offer DirecTV Now Plus at $ 50 per month for more than 40 channels and DirectTV Now Max at $ 70 per month for more than 50 channels. So, not only will you pay more, but you will get less. The current basic package offers over 65 channels for $ 40 a month. Perhaps a small consolation, the new packages will include HBO, which was a $ 5 addition in the past.

AT & T is not the only live streaming TV provider to raise its rates. This seems to be a trend as companies determine a price that works. Hulu recently increased its live TV option by $ 5 a month, bringing Hulu + Live TV to $ 45 for more than 60 channels. YouTube TV, which announced national coverage in January, costs just $ 40 a month for more than 70 channels. However, neither Hulu nor YouTube currently offer HBO channel, so these are probably not great options if you look forward to the last season of Game of Thrones.
