Bollywood celebrities went in their best condition to attend the wedding of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, billed as one of the most significant events of 2019. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar, who were among the first arrivals to the wedding Ambani -mehta, shook a leg in the Baaraat procession with the groom Akash and his mother Nita Ambani. Shah Rukh, who looked dapper in a white Manish Malhotra sherwaani, matching steps with Nita Ambani. Akash's sister, Isha, married to Anand Piramal in December 2018, also took part in the Baaraat with his younger brother Anant and his father Mukesh Ambani.

Meanwhile, the wedding venue at the Jio World Center in Mumbai was dotted with flowers, fake waterfalls and floral figurines, among others. Bollywood was almost complete – Rajinikanth with his daughter Soundarya and son-in-law Vishagan Vanangamudi, Amitabh Bachchan with his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta, Abhishek Bachchan with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter Aaradhya, Aamir Khan with his wife Kiran Rao Priyanka Chopra with his mother Madhu Chopra and his brother Siddharth, the couple of actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, the actresses Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and Kiara Advani, and many others were present.
Apart from Bollywood, the Ambanis had also invited former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair to their son's wedding. Saturday's wedding ceremony marked the beginning of the three wedding days. Tonight, Ambanis and Mehtas will hold a wedding ceremony between Akash and Shloka in Mumbai and a reception for newlyweds will be held on March 11.
