BOCA RATON, Fla – Caleb Pendleton of Florida Atlantic hit the Grand Slam in his first two college field appearances on Saturday night, both in the same inning.
Playing in his first game, the rookie connected with bases loaded twice in a 12-point second inning against Central Florida.

The right-handed hitter smashed the second shot to the left center, clearing a row of palm trees behind the outfield fence.
FAU won 20-15.
As a high school student, Pendleton was ranked as the No. 3 wide receiver in Florida state by Perfect Game and was twice named a PG Preseason All-American.
