AT&T Blackouts Affect Internet and Phones in South Florida

PEMBROKE PARK, Florida – An AT&T outage affected many people in South Florida on Wednesday afternoon.

Internet access and cell service have been reported to be down for many of the carrier’s customers.

AT&T responded to concerned customers on social media, saying they are aware of the issues and have technicians working on them.

Reports of the problems had started to slow down by the late afternoon and early evening, according to the Downdetector website.
