A shocking new video captures the moment an attacker randomly pushed a woman to the side of a train arriving in Times Square this week.

The video, released by the NYPD, shows the suspect wearing a bandana sitting on a bench on the platform Monday just after 8 a.m. – and getting up to push the 42-year-old victim from behind as a No.3 train pulls in the trainstation.

The victim slammed into the side of the oncoming train, but did not fall on the tracks, cops said. Instead, she tipped back onto the platform, suffering serious injuries to her face and legs.

She was taken to Bellevue hospital in stable condition, police said.

The two women did not know each other and the incident was not provoked, cops said.

The suspect, who cops said appeared to be in her 30s, was last seen wearing black sneakers, beige pants, a black sweater and a multi-colored scarf. She fled after the assault.
