Audi RS Q8 spying seems very fast at the ring

A new spy video reveals that the Audi RS Q8 is making its comeback on the Nürburgring for a new season of testing. The driver continues to push the performance SUV on the famous course, in addition to enjoying public roads near the track.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that the RS Q8 has lost much camouflage since the previous spy video of August 27, 2018. There is still a camouflage around the front fascia, sills and rear bumper . The concealment does not hide very well the modified nose and large coves give the SUV a very aggressive appearance.

The RS Q8 would share a powertrain with the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. The 4.0-liter Hybrid-Assisted Hybrid V8 will deliver approximately 670 horsepower (500 kilowatts) and 626 foot-pounds (850 newton meters). Earlier rumors indicate that the model uses the same 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 as the Lamborghini Urus with 641 hp (478 kW). Regardless of the powertrain, a sophisticated all-wheel drive system and adaptive suspension will likely make monumental power usable on the road.

We do not have any spy photos of the interior yet. The cabin should generally be similar to the standard Q8, but with aggressive touches such as large cushions on the front seats, Alcantara upholstery pieces and carbon fiber trims.

Audi still has not sold the Audi SQ8 yet, lighter, and the RS Q8 will not debut before its less aggressive brother. The current speculative schedule indicates that the RS Q8 will go on sale in 2020.
