For the second time in five days, Penn State opened the doors of its practice facility to members of the media on Wednesday afternoon. As usual, Lions247 has a bunch of photo and video content again, but let’s take a look at what stood out when we took another look at this Nittany Lions team.
It was a completely different training format than what we saw last Saturday. If you missed these notes, check them out HERE.
This open session lasted around 20 minutes and allowed us to follow different phases of the program, while the defensive, offensive and special teams work was in progress. Penn State opens its 2021 season on September 4 in Wisconsin before returning home for four consecutive home games at Beaver Stadium.
“We’re bigger, stronger and faster than we’ve ever been,” Nittany Lions head coach James franklin said Saturday. “We’re part of the argument in pretty much every category or metric, whatever you want to put it. I like where we are with the first day of training yesterday.”
