Xiaomi is working on a couple of premium phones for this year. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said on Tuesday that the company could launch the successor to Mi Max 2, aka Mi Max 3, in July. Next to the Mi Max 3, Mi Mix 3 is also in progress, suggest rumors. A new report reveals that Xiaomi could launch the Mi Mix 3 in September, almost at the same time that Google is expected to launch this year's Pixel phones, which will likely be the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. As a reminder, Mi Mix 2 was also launched in September last year.
A new image of the revelation of the Mi Mix 3 design has been disclosed. Previous rumors suggest that the Mi Mix 3 will be the first Xiaomi phone to come with a pop-up selfie camera like the Vivo NEX. The selfie pop-up technology is the new trend that smartphone manufacturers are adapting to. It all started with the Vivo NEX. After Vivo, Oppo with flagship Find X took the technology to a whole new level. Xiaomi with the Mi Mix 3 also aims to do the same thing.
Earlier this week, some renderings of the Mi Mix 3 leaked displaying the overall design of the device, at the front and the back of the panel. The renderings also revealed that the Mi Mix 3 will come with a pop-up camera on the front, just like the Vivo NEX. Now, the newly disclosed image also reveals the same thing. The image does not reveal any additional hardware or design details on the phone.
The picture shows the silhouette of the Mi Mix 3, below which she notes "2018.9" alluding to the September launch. Xiaomi, however, is yet to reveal the launch details of the Mi Mix 3.

At the back, the Mi Mix 3, as rumors suggest, will sport the dual rear camera set up just like the iPhone X. Both cameras will be separated by an LED flash in the middle. The Mi Mix 3 will come with ultra-thin glbades on all sides, suggest rumors.
At the moment, we do not know much about the Mi Mix 3. All we know is that the device will be bundled with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 processor, Android 8.1 Oreo and more.
