Remastered game launches for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC this winter
Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began broadcasting a new trailer Wednesday for the game Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition . The company first showed the trailer at Anime Expo last Sunday.
The game is a remastered version of the Tales of Vesperia role-playing game by Bandai Namco Entertainment . The company will release the remastered version on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam this winter.
The game will include both English and Japanese voiceovers, as well as the content of the Japanese version PlayStation 3 available for the first time in English, such as Patty Fleur and Flynn Schifo as members of the group. The game will also include new scenarios, locations and costumes.
The original role-playing game Tales of Vesperia was released on Xbox 360 in 2008, and it later received a PlayStation 3 version in Japan in 2009. The PS3 version adds a dub, the new character Patty Flower, and the Flynn Schifo character as a member of the group, as well as additional dungeons, bosses and Gigant monsters.
Production IG produced the anime film Tales of Vesperia ~ The First Strike ~ which acts as a prequel to the game, in 2009. Funimation the movie on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in North America.
