Goodwood, England – The all-new Toyota Supra is easily the most-anticipated car of 2018.

since the Supra will share its chbadis and Z4 six-cylinder engine through a connection with BMW, it makes sense that the aforementioned four-pot would be BMW's 2-liter turbopetrol.
This theory is supported by a leaked document from the ZF gearbox manufacturer, published by Road & Track on its website, which also reveals that the 2-liter Supra will be tuned to 195kW, while the 3-liter will produce 250kW.
BMW will offer a wider range of outlets in its Z4 Roadster, with the addition of a 135kW 2.0 and 280 kW Z4, according to the ZF document. All variants mentioned will be paired with ZF's eight-speed autobox, of course.
Although the four-cylinder Supra is a more affordable alternative than the very hype six, do not expect it to come cheap.
In an interview with AutoRai.nl earlier this year Toyota Europe Vice President R & D, Gerald Killmann, said the Supra "will not be a cheap car".
"There will be a clear difference between the GT86 and the Supra," said Killmann. "The GT86 remains the affordable sports car, the Supra becomes the performance model."
