The Audi TT 2019 refreshed just showed his face, but unless you're an Audi enthusiast, it's basically impossible to spot major differences between the outgoing model. The cars seem almost identical.
"The new Audi TT-an update for the design icon," reads in the Audi press release for its refreshed roadster. According to the Ingolstadt-based brand, the exterior is now more "masculine, more progressive and even sportier" than the outgoing model, with Audi highlighting the "Singleframe" grille and the large exterior air intakes, even on the basic models.
Line S, shown above, receives a full length front splitter, a black grille, special side sills and "vertical air intakes" (which, I suppose, means those outside the lower fascia).
Changes in the outgoing model are, uh, existing?

It is obvious that the wheels are different, and the grille of the new car is a little more TT RS-ish than the TTS pre-facelift, but I mean Just look at these two cars – if they humans, they would be identical twins, with the stockings maybe wearing a set of braces and flashy shoes.

Again, the changes of the old car are hard to spot , the most obvious being the "entrances" (which I suppose are actually technical vents for the rear wheel wells). Here is the tail of the outgoing car:
In addition to the settings, Audi claims that the new car will be delivered with more standard equipment, including the Audi virtual badpit, the Audi dynamic driving system drive select, a rain and light sensor, heated mirrors, illuminated USB ports, bluetooth, a fuel filler without cap and a multifunction steering wheel.
As for engines, the Audi publication does not reveal much, just saying that there will be a "range of gasoline engines of varying levels of performance" available, and that They will be bolted to six-speed manuals or a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch (Audi says the seven-speed S tronic is new)
I do not know where Motor1 got its information, but the The car's website alleges that all TT will get 2.0-liter engines, which will be offered in 40 TFSI, 45 TFSI, 45 TFSI Quattro and TTS. The 40 TFSI base, says the website, will produce 197 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, while the other two TFSI versions make 245 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque. As for the Audi TTS, Motor1 says it will make 306 ponies and 295 lb-ft. (It is worth noting that these figures largely correspond to those of Autocar.)
The slightly updated TT will be available in some European countries as of the fourth quarter of this year, with prices starting at 35,000 euros for the coupe and 37,500 for the roadster.
