"Show us what you are doing, your next meal on a flight. Seeing this has been such a trauma. You can prepare the day before a flight you know, said a man tweeted.

Qantas said that he will follow the complaint with the supplier Homemade Food Co.

"We can perfectly understand that the customer would have been disappointed with their meal," said a spokesman to Daily Mail Australia.

"We will follow up with our supplier and we will make it very clear that providing a filling sandwich is their bread and butter.

"My comments being made in the hope that the airline rectifies the problems. My direct approaches fell in the ear of a deaf person.

Homemade Food Co told news.com.au that they had been in direct contact with Qantas and the individual and declined to provide any other comments. {
