Nevada Highway Patrol reacted to a fatal crash on Interstate-15 near Primm on Friday night

According to NHP, a 2018 Infiniti Q50 was driving recklessly on 1-15 north near the 9 mile marker and the driver quickly lost control of the car. The vehicle left the road and in the desert, which made it turn around.

The accident occurred at 23:15. A man and a woman, both in their twenties, were ejected from the vehicle, said the PSN. Both were declared dead on the scene.

The investigators were working on who drove the car, according to NHP. It was not known if the disability was a factor, but the pair was not wearing a seatbelt. Witnesses told NHP that the driver was accelerating and trying to change lanes before the crash.

No road closure has been put in place, the PSN said. Motorists were advised to exercise caution when driving in the area while soldiers were investigating them

. This was the first of three deaths caused by collisions in the Las Vegas Valley during the night.
