Belkin further intensified competition in the wireless charger market with the release of its new BOOST ↑ UP ™ 10W Wireless Universal Bracket ($ 109.95 CAD) and BOOST Wireless Charging Tablet ↑ UPMC Bold 10W ($ 99.95 CDN). After the unveiling at CES 2018, the two BOOST ↑ UP ™ products claim to support Apple, Samsung and other Qi compatible devices.
As previously announced, Apple and Samsung are to launch their own fast wireless chargers this year, with Belkin's universal offerings threatening market share.
The two Belkin BOOST ↑ UP ™ products claim to provide wireless charging at "optimum speed", while the "Pad" variant supports portrait or landscape operation. The wireless charger has an LED light to confirm the correct placement.
The now Foxconn company has revealed a series of wireless charging products at CES this year, encompbading home, car and commercial comm applications.
The two BOOST ↑ UP ™ wireless chargers can now be purchased from several Australian retailers (eg Harvey Norman and JB Hi Fi) with more information on Belkin's website here
