The original Honor Waterplay from last year was a mid-range device as it was driven by Kirin 659 chipset. There is a possibility that this time, Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC could be present under the hood of the Waterplay 8 tablet. There is no information on the the upcoming’s tablet’s other specifications.

Even though Honor will be unveiling multiple devices later this week, the Honor Magic 2 flagship phone with manual slider design will no doubt be hogging all the limelight. The Kirin 980 SoC-powered Magic 2 smartphone is expected to arrive with some advanced features like 3D face scanning, in-screen fingerprint scanner, 40W rapid charging and 16-megapixel + 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel triple rear cameras. It is also expected to release in variants such as 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
