Harman-owned JBL has sought local retailers, by [finally] Aussie website, debuting with a competitive $ 101 discount.
As previously reported, local retailers (such as Norman Harvey and JB Hi-Fi) beat JBL Australia to the chase, and have been selling the 'Link View' smart speaker for some weeks.

Harvey Norman has dropped $ 265, but JB Hi-Fi is still selling for $ 349.

The category is further expanded in coming months, and is more important to the expanding smart home ecosystem.
The Google Assistant powered JBL Link View claims to provide the company's audio trademark, pledging "rich stereo sound with deep bbad."
Incorporating an 8-inch screen for viewing, the Link View features a 5MP front camera for video chatting – unlike the Google Home Hub.
