The Gold Coast Titans have announced their biggest signing of the 2019 season – Mal Meninga.
The coach of the Immortal Rugby League and Kangaroos joined the club as a performance and culture leader, charged with creating a winning environment with the Titans.
This is a huge club event that has struggled to create a winning culture since its introduction in the NRL in 2007.
NRL CEO Todd Greenberg gave his blessing to the nomination, with Meninga's first priority being his kangaroo homework.

"Evil is needed throughout the year to promote the game, provide mentorship and badistance to young players and help the game's elite level," said Mr Greenberg.
"But as there are no Kangaroos matches until the end of the 2019 season, he will have the ability to devote himself to the role of the Titans.
