Fast-growing wildfires in California forced tens of thousands of people to quickly evacuate their homes, including several high-profile celebrities, who took to social media Thursday and Friday to reveal they were impacted by the blaze.

Kim Kardashian West took to her Instagram Story to share images of the fires, revealing she was returning home from a trip and rushed to pack up and evacuate her Calabasas-area home.

“Pray for Calabasas,” she wrote on her Instagram Story along with an aerial view of the fires. “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”

The reality star later added, “Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!!”

She then shared an image of her pajama-clad kids sitting on the pavement after the evacuation, writing, “North is always in a good mood.”

Kardashian West’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also took to her Instagram Story to reveal she was evacuating. She shared a picture of her car trunk filled with belongings and wrote, “I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires. No Calabasas tonight.”

Their younger sister, Khloe Kardashian, wrote she was hunkered down with brother Rob Kardashian, his daughter, Dream, and her own daughter, True.

However, Friday morning she tweeted in a panic, “The flames have jumped the 101!! I need an evacuation update please.”

The Kardashians were not the only stars impacted by the wildfires. Actress Alyssa Milano, an outspoken voice of the #MeToo movement, wrote she was evacuated as well.

“I just had to evacuate my home from the fires,” she tweeted. “I took my kids, dogs, computer and my Doc Marten boots. (Husband is in NY. Horses are being evacuated by my trainer.)”

Actor Rainn Wilson tweeted that his home had been evacuated, and his pigs and dogs were fine.

“Please send your prayers to the people of Thousand Oaks and the victims of the shooting that are now having to evacuate their homes and neighborhoods,” he tweeted. “Then send them some cash.”
