OnePlus has announced that the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Color variant is coming to India soon.

After rumors poured in, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6T in Thunder Purple color in China last week. The company has announced that the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color is coming to the global market soon. In addition, OnePlus India has also taken over its social media channels to announce the coming of OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant in the country soon. The company, however, has not revealed the exact timeline of the launch.
The new Thunder Purple model of the 6T is already on sale in China. The smartphone has been launched in only one variant, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be expandable further via microSD card. The price, specifications, and features of this color model of the OnePlus 6T remain the same as the other variants. To recall, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6T in two colors – Mirror Black and Midnight Black. Both these shades of black are available in India.

The new Thunder Purple variant of the OnePlus 6T comes with gradient finish back, which enhances the overall look of the phone. The gradient finish makes the phone look clbady and premium. The specs packed inside the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple is also the same as the other variants. The phone comes with a 6.41-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 86 per cent and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, Android phone runs 9 Pie out-of-the-box and packs at 37000mah battery.
One of the key highlights of the OnePlus 6T is the fingerprint sensor that sits inside the display instead of the back cover of the OnePlus 6. The phone comes with a dual camera setup with a primary sensor of 16MP and secondary sensor of 20MP. On the front, the OnePlus 6T comes with a 16MP selfie shooter.

As for the pricing, the OnePlus 6T comes in three models – the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage for Rs 37,999. The second model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 41,999, while the top model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and sells for a price tag of Rs 45,999. As OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it could be possibly retail for Rs 41,999 in India.
