Rhylee West with his father, Great Scott of the Bulldogs, in Whitten Oval
RHYLEE West will begin his career at the Western Bulldogs in the jumper his father Scott made, while the selected driver put 14th in Guernsey for his first season.
Although Scott West will be remembered for winning a club record seven and the best reward of No. 7 rider inherited from the great club Doug Hawkins, he played 40 games in number 14 from 1993 to 1994.
Rhylee has arrived at the Dogs with the choice of 26 in the NAB AFL draft last week, and the importance of the rider's history does not forget it.
Former club captain Luke Darcy waved the jumper in each of his 226 games in red, white and blue except one, before handing it over to newly retired prime minister Clay Smith. .

"(Luke Beveridge) called me after being drafted and said I wanted to wear number 14, which continues for the first two seasons of dad," Rhylee told reporters Wednesday.
"That's a lot," says Clay (Smith), who was a good character around the club and was the key to the club's success in 2016.
"It's a lot to wear on my back."
