Parents blame Fortnite for losing children

[ad_1]

We have all seen parents complaining that their kids are playing video games. There is a good chance that your parents complained that you were playing video games at some point. But there are complaints … and then there is way too far. At present, apparently, there are parents who are trying to send their children to rehab at Fortnite.

The parents had enough Fortnite

Suddenly, the dependence on Fortnite makes the headlines. Discover this Bloomberg title:

The fortified dependency has become so serious that some parents send their children to rehab pic.twitter.com/znyi5Peuqd

– Bloomberg's TicToc (@tictoc) November 28, 2018

The text reads: "Fortified dependence has become so severe that some parents send their children to rehab."

Yes. Fortnian rehabilitation is apparently a thing. Sensational.

Here's another tweet that blames Fortnite on poor ratings and lack of sleep:

Thanks to Fortnite, children lose sleep and drop their grades, and their parents try to put them in rehab https://t.co/EkXV2C6TNn

Seriously? The last time we checked, the kids had found reasons to go to sleep and not go to school since the dawn of time. If it was not Fortnite, it was something else. Yes, kids should do their best to excel at school and get enough sleep, but some degree of relaxation and entertainment are also part of a healthy childhood.

Plus, who's really to blame for the under-disciplined kids? Wealthy parents or ugly? When parents refuse to take responsibility for their failures, it's pretty easy to see where their children are getting the same lack of accountability.

It's not enough that parents blame Fortnite for their failures

Parents are not the only ones to blame Fortnite for their own failures.

"This game is like heroin," said Lorrine Marer, a British behavior specialist who works with children who are addicted to gambling. "Once you're hooked, it's hard to get off the hook." https://t.co/ZF9584h1Gk pic.twitter.com/1WjpZYed9Z

The text in the tweet reads, "This game is like heroin," said Lorrine Marer, a British behavior specialist who works with children who are addicted to gambling. "Once hooked, it's hard to get caught."

But we can say that the funniest part is the extract that it contains underneath. He mentions: "An online divorce service in the UK indicates that 200 petitions have cited this year's Fortnite and other video games as the reason for breaking up marriages."

Riiiight. In general, these are two people who are not good or who have trouble solving their problems and who are responsible for the failure of a marriage. But let's play video games, right?

The excerpt also mentions that "the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League have had such a hard time getting players to meetings and dinners they banned from Fortnite on the road.

Yes, because bad coaching and team dynamics can not be responsible. Obviously, it must be Fortnite.

Blaming video games for problems that are supposed to be borne by other people is a hobby that has existed for a very long time. We can not expect it to stop any time soon.

In the meantime, if you are a responsible and reasonable parent with a child who loves Fortnite, consider buying him fantastic Fortnite action figures for the holidays. Follow all our news Fortnite.
