Several firefighting teams are on the scene during a bushfire that is burning on the Sunshine Coast.
The fire is burning on the west side of Kawana Way Link Road on the north side of Caloundra Road and on the east side of Honey Farm Road in Caloundra near Little Mountain.

Kawana Way Link Road was closed in both directions this morning between Caloundra Road and Creekside Boulevard.
The fire is igniting inside the containment lines and does not pose a threat to the property at this time, said a spokesman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

Firefighters will strive to strengthen the containment lines throughout the day.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service warned that smoke was affecting Buderim, Sippy Downs, Mountain Creek and the surrounding areas.
Residents are advised to close doors and windows and, in case of respiratory problems, to keep medication nearby. Motorists must drive with caution and conditions.
It comes after an emergency declaration relating to a large burning grbad on the Sunshine Coast has been canceled.
The emergency declaration was made under the law on public security and preservation around 12:10 in the morning, while a large grbad fire was burning in the small mountain.
The statement included the boundaries of Kawana Link Road to the west, Caloundra Road to the south, Parklands Boulevard to the east and Meridan Way to the north.
The fire is no longer a threat to the homes and the statement was revoked at 2:48.

At the same time, residents of the North Stradbroke Island were invited to keep abad of a bush fire on the island.
At approximately 11:20, the bush fire was in the vicinity of Eighteen Mile Marsh, south of Alfred Martin Way, near Main Beach.
There was no threat to the properties.

Hot, dry conditions are again expected today. The authorities described today's expected conditions as "worrying" but not catastrophic as in previous days.
