BRISBANE – Things got hotter as Jeff Horn and Anthony Mundine both weighed in at the 71kg load weight limit before their River City Rumble on Friday night.
The words were exchanged, before a shot of Mundine escalate things beyond the point of talking trashy.
While the two men were meeting for the last time before coming face to face in the ring, they were both in conversation, before Horn leaned over, seemingly to say something that nervously touched Mundine, who was pushing his opponent by the throat.
"I'm just ready to eat it, dude, just ready to go," said Mundine, very excited, on the stage.

Mundine has arrived at 70.25kg, comfortably under the weight limit, which means he will avoid heavy fines. The Horn team made sure to include it in the beginning of the fight.
"I wanted to do things easily," said Mundine.
"Normally, you have more time [referring to the early weigh-in] … so I wanted to show them that not only did I gain weight, but that I did it comfortably. "

Horn weighed more than Mundine at 70.55 kg.
"He may have gone a little too far," Horn told reporters.
"That's why he acted as he did [did]. He must be very frustrated, but we have about the same weights. But I did it easily, he probably did it harshly.
