A skier was identified 64 years after disappearing in the Italian Alps, following a public call for information on Facebook by investigators.

The call worked. The niece of Emma Nbadem-Le Masne heard about the news on a local radio station. She contacted the authorities about her missing uncle, whom she knew had disappeared in the area after a storm, 64 years earlier. Nbadem says that Le Masne was born in 1919.
