The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) will donate $ 2 million to the Australian Red Cross to help Australian farmers fight the drought.
Deteriorating conditions prompted the ABC to support drought-stricken farm families. Grant Cairns, Regional Director General and Agri-Food, tells Ross Greenwood that "help is absolutely essential."

Mr. Cairns also says that the bank will look into loan facilities and emergency financing to help farmers."
