A first day of mazon arrived – and with it comes an abundance of transactions on everything from household items to appliances, beauty, grooming, essential purchases of parents and babies, clothes, toys and furniture.
The online sales giant's annual flash sale event will last 36 hours, from noon on Monday and until midnight on Tuesday, July 17th.
The first Prime Day was held on July 15, 2015, anniversary of the founding of the company by CEO Jeff Bezos. In 2017, Amazon Prime Day was a huge success, with sales growing 60 percent over the previous year.
