Actor Craig McLachlan seeks to have access to the notes taken by a therapist to whom his Rocky Horror Show Co-star Christie Whelan Browne spoke at the 2014 Musical Theater Show, while he sues the actor and two media for defamation about allegations of badual harbadment.

McLachlan, 53, sues Fairfax Media, the ABC and Whelan Browne for a series of articles and reports in January claiming that he had abused her indecently and intimidated two other female members of distribution during production. The four-week trial is scheduled to begin on February 4.

On Wednesday, McLachlan's lawyers asked NSW Supreme Court Justice Lucy McCallum to allow a question put to Whelan Browne about the name and address of her therapist, so that she could issue a subpoena to view the therapist's notes of complaints.

Attorney Matthew Richardson, of McLachlan, stated that it was clear that Whelan Browne had had a series of appointments with a therapist where his interactions with McLachlan had been discussed and that he did not go to court. was not "poking around" for medical records.
