The incessant badault of new Fortnite updates continues, with the 5.10 patch now available. It's remarkable, with a new weapon, birthday challenges, and more included, but perhaps the best of all are the variety of card changes that have been implemented – one of which is funny enough, but you have to know where to look
To understand this tribute on the map, you must be familiar with the fate of Chappadoodle. Recently, the Muselk streamer has released a video of a rescue attempt at Fortnite. He sees an off-road Kart approaching the edge of the map and will investigate, only to discover that a player – Chappadoodle – has fallen far from the edge of the map but has managed to survive. Assuming that Chappadoodle is simply running out of building materials and is stuck, Muselk builds an elaborate series of stairs to take them out. But just when they are about to reach the trapped player, he finds himself unable to build further, apparently because of a blockage at such a low altitude.
Fortunately, the ATK mentioned above was still trailing the retrieves, intending to use its inflatable roof to let Chappadoodle reach the stairs. While trying to shoot down the ATK, he tumbled dangerously down the side of the cliff, but managed not to fall off the map, but to collide with Chappadoodle, sending them flying from the map until he reached the edge of the cliff. at their death. And in a cruel twist, Muselk is testing his theory of using the roof of the ATK to reach the stairs, and of course, it works.
The official account of Fortnite shared a clip of all this, as one might expect. do it with a funny video involving his game. Not content to just do it, the user of Reddit, StoreBrandEnigma, discovered that Epic actually commemorated the incident in its entirety. Starting from patch 5.10, if you visit the place where Chappadoodle died, you will find a tombstone. And nearby, where the ATK roof was needed, you will find a set of tires (which at Fortnite will also send you flying in the air). You can see it in the screenshot below or watch the video here.
This is not the first time that Epic recognizes events in the community at stake. Perhaps most famously, theories that the comet of Season 4 would destroy Tilted Towers led Epic to leave signs of an apocalyptic holiday on the roof of one of Tilted's buildings.
The new tombstone seems to be one of many changes in the patch notes. Redditor ImmortalTechniquez found a clay pigeon shooting setup, while Sqoof noticed that Risky Reels was repaired.
