The once-close connection between Lewis and Pulos, who had started as an badistant, was broken during a luncheon while she claimed to have let her leave the company and verbally attacked her in a way that she found inexcusable. "When I saw who he really thought, our friendship was over," says Pulos. "As a mother and as a wife of a good man, the behavior was no longer acceptable."

Since separating, Pulos has also addressed Lewis' public allegations that she had filed complaints of wrongful dismissal, abuse and victimization and that she had not worked for him for years, simulating the relationship for cameras. .
