KATE Middleton achieved what many a mum-of-three dream of last night when she slipped into a slimline dress that she wore six years ago, pre-children.

Kate — who is back at “work” after taking six months off for maternity leave — recently stepped out for her first public engagement following the birth of her third child, Prince Louis.

Last night the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, recycled a spectacular aqua Jenny Packham gown.

She previously wore the floor-length dress back in 2012, and made a glamorous appearance wearing it today at the Tusk Conservation Awards.

The first time she wore the dress with lace cap sleeves and Swarovski beaded belt, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her hair in a chic chignon up-do, but this time kept her trademark locks flowing.

She paired the stunning plunge gown with a matching turquoise clutch and her showstopping engagement ring.

Kate also recycled the £450 ($810) “Vamp” sandals from Jimmy Choo that she wore the first time she wore the dress.

Previously, she wore the daring teal dress for the 2012 Our Greatest Team Rises — BOA Olympic Concert held at London’s Royal Albert Hall and looked just as sensational today as she did back then.

The Duchess is a huge fan of Jenny Packham gowns, and presented all three of her children to the world while wearing the label.

Royal fans were quick to take to Twitter to share how incredible Kate looked tonight in the dazzling green ball gown.

One wrote: “Also, at that place in my life where I see the dress that Kate Middleton wore tonight and screeched in my head SHE REWORE _THE_ DRESS. MY FAVOURITE JENNY PACKHAM.”

The Duchess is said to have a close working relationship with the designer, stepping out for her first state banquet, the BAFTAs, an Olympic concert, film premieres, and tours in Japan and India while wearing her creations.

Kate Middleton isn’t the only star to be a fan of the luxury label, with Jenny Packham counting notable faces including Angelina Jolie, Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez and Oprah among her clients too.

It’s become a well-known fact that Kate Middleton is fairly thrifty when it comes to her wardrobe options — and loves to recycle her favourite outfits from time to time.

These are just a few examples, you can see a full gallery of her recycled outfits over on Vogue.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be high spirits last night as they arrived at London’s Banqueting House, where Prince William made a speech and delivered three awards.

It’s a special night for Prince William, who became a Royal Patron of Tusk in December 2005.

He’s frequently supported the organisation, which aims to promote conservation and fight illegal wildlife trade.

The Tusk Trust was established in 1990 at the height of the previous poaching crisis, when thousands of elephants and rhinos were slaughtered.

Prince William said: “Africa’s wildlife is suffering as well as its people.

“Like so many others, I am deeply saddened by the numbers of elephant, rhino and pangolin who have been illegally slaughtered for their tusks, horns and scales. But the illegal wildlife trade also has a devastating human impact.

“Too many brave rangers are tragically killed each year by poachers. Communities see their tourist livelihoods threatened. And the proceeds of the illegal wildlife trade fund broader criminal networks and threaten security.

“This is why I am committed to doing what I can to help end this terrible, global crime. This will be a particular focus of my upcoming visit to Africa, and of course the conference on the illegal wildlife trade taking place here in London in October.”
