WASHINGTON (CNN) – California Representative Linda Sánchez announced Tuesday that she plans to run for the House of Democratic caucus chair by issuing an offer to replace the leadership role of MP Joe Crowley Sánchez, a California Democrat who is currently Vice President, said in a letter to caucus members that "it was an honor to work with President Crowley" and said that she was "pleased" to announce that I will run for the presidency of the Democratic Chamber Caucus for the 116th Congress.
