It is not often that an MMA fighter removes two people at a time, but that is exactly what happened at MAX Muay Thai.
The Muay Thai fighter, Gou Dakui, was trying to finish his opponent Super X Sitsontidech with a brutal combination of hooks and kicks, before the official unfortunately intervened.
Super X was slumped to the ground because of the right hook, but the refree was also sent crashing on the canvas after a brutal kick hit him in the face.
After realizing that the referee had been overthrown, the commentators remained stunned.
"Oh my god, the referee was kicked, the referee was overthrown," he said.
"Oh no, it's something I've never seen in over 30 years watching Muay Thai.
"Another referee came to help the referee, just when I thought I had seen everything in my Muay Thai career."
Despite the unfortunate end, Dakui wins and extends his career record to 21-9
