] Y & # 39; s all! Can you believe it's the last episode of Nashville ? What will we do without weekly visits to the city? No more distressing drama, emotional roller coasters, hard-hitting nostalgia, Deacon's tears and the overall beauty of our favorite country musicians! They should probably write a song about saying goodbye to this show, just saying, there is a wealth of material to me.
Anyway! As I said, it 's the last episode and little boy, do we have a lot to tell with almost all the main characters of the show, so let' s go!
As it became the norm, we start things with breakfast at Jaymes-Claybourne home. It's the morning after the last episode and the girls are unhappy not to know where their grandfather is. The deacon is everything, not my concern! But since Deacon is pretty much the kindest person of all time, I'm sure that he's not going to completely wash his hands of the whole situation. Just at that moment, Bucky arrives with good news: Deacon has been so interested in him since his recent performance that he thinks Deacon should go on tour – as headliner! Deacon thinks it's a joke, but Bucky is dead serious. He says he'll think about it, having girls to consider and everything.
This is not just the finale of Nashville it's also the finale of the talent show in the show, Nashville's Next. For the big confrontation, they make things happen. Each artist is badigned to a song that is not necessarily their style and they have to make it work. Daphne is not a fan of her song and her mentor Elsa agrees that it is too mainstream for her. She talks to Deacon when she receives a letter from her grandfather wishing her luck. Deacon is pissed off thinking that Grandpa is just trying to manipulate her, but Daphne invites her to the finale, anyway. Then Deacon goes to see the old man at his motel, where his father admits that after 28 years of not drinking, he indulged in one or more sips after his house was destroyed. But, he promises, everything is under control. Deacon is skeptical to say the least, but his father continues, telling him that when Daphne discovered him drinking, the expression of his face made him stop definitively. He promises that he will never hurt Deacon or the girls again. Deacon moves away
As Daphne prepares for the big party, Maddie records with Twig, who looks at her with envy while pretending to be a producer. He tells her that she will be leading her own tour soon and wants to go with her when she does it. I do not blame Maddie for looking a little uncomfortable with this proposal. Later, while chatting with Scarlett, her cousin notices that Maddie does not turn on when she talks about Twig (or "Branch" as she calls him). Maddie feels that she should give her a chance, but Scar thinks she should just honor what she feels right now, be free and have fun. Oh, to be a teenager!
So Maddie meets Twig for coffee and he can say that it's bad news. Maddie thanks Twig for having had the courage to tell him the truth while no one else would and gives him a new pair of super-fancy headphones, which he realizes is a prize consolation. She tells him that it deserves to be put at the center of his universe and that she can not put it there now. He says that he would take her as she is, but she thinks he deserves more. It's emotional. There are tears … of Twig. Poor guy, but please, do not make separation gifts, agree? (Continuing recap on page 2).
