Two new files have been added to Fortnite in V6.31 Update for the upcoming blizzard, which is expected to hit the map.
Epic Games regularly adds new elements and elements to the game to match special events or seasons in the real world, which has left Fortnite fans excited about what the developers would do for the next vacation.
The developers previously added new files confirming that the snow would fall on the Fortnite map this Christmas season, which included new sounds for players walking or running in snowy areas.
It was confirmed that the sound files differed from those heard when the players were walking in the village of Viking, currently covered with snow, indicating that these sound files would concern areas of the map previously spared by the snow.
FortTory found two new files in a folder called "Fort Effects" as the map prepared for its upcoming blizzard. One file is titled "Snow-Ambient_Island", while the other is titled "SnowFlakes_Simple". FortTory also discovered the snowflake file, giving fans a first glimpse of the look of the snow as it falls.

The inclusion of the snowflake file may indicate that the snow will fall as part of an event at stake, players being able to watch it fall to the ground, covering the map of a new layer of snow.
A new snowy texture has also been discovered, named Curropt Rock Ice, which will likely be used in new areas affected by the blizzard, while a new ice fog has also been added.

There is also a new file called "Cold_Breath", which is probably used when fortnite characters end up in snowy parts of the map to indicate that it's cold, the players breathing the fog, which seems to be in use now, possibly suggesting that the map is already starting to cool.

Although Epic Games has refrained from making announcements on the arrival of snow on the map, eagle-eyed fans have noticed a large cloud heading to the island since the southern horizon; future.
