If the listing is to be believed, the YouTube app will make its Nintendo Switch debut on November 8.

The shock release is still in the air.

The launch of a YouTube app would be followed by Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Amazon Prime Video.

Interestingly, Netflix previously said it had no plans to release the app on it, it was exploring the opportunity.

Nintendo of America's President Reggie Fils-Aime will give fans fresh hope this year, telling them that they will come back.

"For those types of questions, we have to refer you to the folks at Netflix," he said.

"What we said when we launched Nintendo Switch was made to be a gaming platform and that's what we've created. And that's what we're doing in the first 12 months in the United States to be the best-selling home console in the history of video games. "

"Right now, let's get Hulu on the platform," he continued.

"For us, we want to make sure that we continue to install the base for Nintendo Switch, continue to have great games for the platform.

"In terms of what's next on the streaming side, you're gonna have to talk to each other where they stand and what they're working on."

Streaming apps are almost certain to appear soon, especially given the popularity of the Nintendo Switch.
