Cs_summit 3's is complete today and a North American team has won the home title in Los Angeles.
NRG Esports won the trophy, which actually turned out to be a wooden duck, in a convincing way against the Danes of OpTic Gaming. The winning North American team gave a 1-0 lead to the grand final. The resulting card choices involved OpTic with Nuke and Mirage, while NRG chose Overpbad and Train.

Losers final
OpTic Gaming vs BIG
- OpTic won Nuke 16-4
- OpTic won Dust II 16-11
Card two Nuke was a quiz between the two parties. OpTic appeared to be about to sweep the map after half-time, but NRG lined up a few rounds on his T side to keep the Danes on their heels. OpTic was rewarded with a strength buy from round 30, despite Tsvetelin's clutching sleeves "CeRq" Dimitrov.
NRG has responded to Overpbad by keeping the game tight until they throw themselves on OpTic on their side of the CT. North Americans demolished them in a 9-0 shutout. CeRq performed the bulk of the work on the AWP: 13 rifles out of 23 were with the sniper rifle.
Mirage, the final card of the series, has allowed NRG to achieve a dominant performance. OpTic has managed to win only a little more than a handful of heats, while Damian's "daps" Steele and his crew have comfortably comforted themselves in the win thanks to another strong team from the CT . Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte dominated the server with a bomb of 30 thanks to his teammates.

Cs_summit 3 is NRG's second title this year, after winning the CS: GO Asian Championship in August. Their dominance puts them in the running for one of the best teams in North America, just behind Team Liquid, almost unstoppable throughout the year on the left side of the pond. NRG will seek to consolidate a more important place in the international rankings this week at the IEM Chicago – and maybe even a championship if it can beat the world's best, like Astralis, FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere.
IEM Chicago will begin later in the week of Nov. 6, pitting 16 of the world's top teams in Windy City.
