COMERFORD has rejected endurance demands on Yucatan's favorite at the Melbourne Cup, while predicting stablemates like The Cliffsofmoher and Rostropovich, which are expected to appear at Flemington.
Comerford said that the decision of Lloyd Williams and Aidan O'Brien to bypbad the Caulfield Cup with Herbert Power Stakes winner Yucatan was right.
"I think Lloyd and Aidan have responded well to the call," Comerford said. "He needed that time after Caulfield and it's important to have the horse for the Melbourne Cup.
